This was both heartening and disheartening to read, as a would-be author. I’m all about a dose of reality, and while I’m not planning on supplementing my income from a published book, the process sounds more exhausting than I have energy for. But, nevertheless, she persisted!! Onward!
I loved reading this. And as I look forward to the publication of book 4 in 4 months (yikes), I’ll be carrying this grounding reminder with me.
